Krav Maga

'Krav Maga' is a Hebrew phrase that means 'Contact combat'. It was developed by Imi Lichtenfeld(left) during his career as chief Instructor of hand-to-hand combat in the Israeli Defence Force. In 1964 he left the military, but continued to develop and adapt Krav Maga to meet civilian needs. Many of his early students have gone on to develop

world renown variations of his system. Among these students are:

Krav Maga is a modern system of self defence. It is based on simplicity, adaptability and the use of instinctive moves. It is a non-competitive system, placing strong emphasis on developing mental and physical fitness. All techniques have been 100% pressure tested to ensure their effectiveness.
